I woke up ths morning to my daughter saying, “we counted TWENTY ladybugs on the table outside!” I thought to myself, “that’s a lot of ladybugs.” I had no idea how many ladybugs were really outside.
As the day progressed, the ladybugs congregated in the shaded areas, particularly on the surfaces where our cottonwood trees had dripped their sap. The photo above is of a wheel on our grill. I shot several more photos of the infestation. Can I even call it that? They may be insects, but they are ladybugs.
