One January afternoon, I received a direct message on Twitter from tweetipFH that said:
“Hi Shawn. Email [me] – I’d like to see what you think tweetprobe is about, like u did for hosebird. More in email”
So, I started down a rabbit trail of twitter accounts and tumblr blogs then responded by email to see if there was any more information that I should consider. There wasn’t. Not to worry though; I’m not intimidated by ambiguity!**
After sketching out a few ideas, I sent them to Michael - he laughed. Something in the design must have struck a chord because Michael referred to the design as soul searching and truly inspiring.
**Ambiguity kills me in regards to expectations. In this case, Michael’s expectations were clear: give it a shot with what you can find. Same for hosebird. Honestly, I believe I excel in this regard. Clifton’s StregthFinders calls it individualization: you are intrigued by the unique qualities of each person; because you are such a keen observer of other people’s strength, you can draw out the best in each person.
