Naturally, I’m a thinker. I’m curious. I constantly absorb information and then try to figure out how it all fits together. I’m also an artist; so sometimes those synapses appear abstract to others, though from my perspective their tension is beautiful and interesting.
Graphic Design
I unleash creativity for print, web, and screen, utilizing Photoshop and the rest of CS4, wielding it with a trusty PenTablet.
Website Development
I provide full service website design and development with HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript — all powered by WordPress.
System Administration
I don’t cower when a PC or a Mac lock-up; I can juggle the complexities of a network; and I schmear printer jams on toast.
Personal Development
My abilities as a graphic designer were acquired and refined through practical experiences, curious exploration, reverse engineering, and studying the wealth of information available in countless books, websites, tutorials, and blogs. I briefly studied at a community college, but opted to focus on my growing family and a career instead — a decision I do not regret.
Interests
Contrasting dualities intrigue me. I enjoy exploring the order behind apparent contradictions, tension, and chaos.
I am an early adopter of Twitter; my user ID is 3519. I am intrigued by its simplicity, and ability to socially self-regulate.
I love living in Colorado, and would prefer to be outdoors rather than in an office any day. A soccer match, a round of disc golf, playing with my kids and dogs in the yard: ah, there’s the rub.

For the last 10 years, I have worked with Denver First Church in varying capacities — most recently as the Creative Communications Producer. During that time, I also worked as a freelance graphic designer, web developer, and systems administrator.
