This is the website I created for him.

Ralph approached me about creating a website for his latest venture, RS Financial, Inc. He provided all the content for the website, allowing me to focus on the design and functionality of the site.

The site is hosted by Nearly Free Speech, powered by WordPress, with Kriesi’s Cubit themeiStock graphics, and a Wufoo form. Utilizing these resources allowed me to charge Ralph less than $500. I even threw in a little SEO too.

Movement 5280

My friend, Jon, approached me about an idea – a “movement,” as he called it.

Movement 5280 is a network of individuals and groups that are devoted to positive societal transformation.

My friend, Jon, approached me about an idea – a “movement,” as he called it:

Movement 5280 is a network of individuals and groups that are devoted to positive societal transformation.

I created a logo of sorts, setup a Ning community, a twitter account, and a (very basic**) homepage for the domain movement5280.com.

I’m excited to see what comes from this movement.

**at present the homepage is just a sliced photoshop image – the site and the movement are works-in-progree

WordPress 2.7 Beta 3

I upgraded to WordPress 2.7 Beta 3 today.

I upgraded to WordPress 2.7 Beta 3 today. I used the “Upgrade Automatically” option from the Upgrade WordPress page. Very smooth process. All I needed to do was enter my FTP password and then wait for several minutes.

The first thing I notice is that the font for the navigation submenus has changed from serif to sans-serif. Beta 2 used serif for both the menu titles and submenus.

Other than that, nothing looks different; supposedly there are more than 160 changes in total. Find out more at the official WordPress blog.

My Sweet Teas Party

Well, not MY Sweet Teas Party, but perhaps my daughter’s party.

I created flyers, invitations, business cards, promotional photos, and a website for Sweet Teas.

Well, not MY party, but my daughter’s party.

Sweet Teas is a fun tea room for little girls, hosted by Karen Dunlap (my wife’s mother).

“Every little girl likes to pretend she’s all grown-up, put on a big hat, hold her pinky out, and using her best manners sip and serve tea in cute little cups. You can bring that experience to life for her by holding her next birthday party at Sweet Teas.”

I created flyers, invitations, business cards, promotional photos, and a website for Sweet Teas.
